Essential Money spends the day painting for Edwards Trust

Once a year, we all try to get out to spend a day in the community doing something for other people. This year the staff at Essential Money chose Edwards Trust who asked us to paint some of their offices. Fortunately their office is also on Greenfield Crescent so we didn't have far to go yesterday morning.

We managed to competely redecorate 2 of their rooms - a counselling room and an admin room without getting too much paint on the carpet (although we were mostly covered in paint) and was probably the hardest days physical work I've done in a long time.

Edward's Trust
Edward's Trust opened Sunrise with the help of a grant from the Department of Health, their bereavement centre in January 1992.

They offer:
Support and counselling for all those affected by the death of a child (however the death has occurred and whatever the age of the child)

Support and counselling for children of school age who are bereaved of a parent, significant carer, sibling or friend.

Advice and training to health care professionals and teachers who have a close association with a bereaved family.
