NHS Pensions & Incorporation
We've just heard from a dental client that is a Principal of his own practice. He's a Provider and a Performer although he is also incorporated. This month, for some reason, his NHS payments for him and his team (all self employed associates) hasn't been deducted.
This is WRONG - as a Provider, you are still eligible for an NHS pension, even if you have incorporated. This is of course provided you perform UDAs or have sufficient surplus of the contract to pension.
If this has happended to you, get in touch with your PCT as soon as possible, or failing that with the Dental Practice Board on 01323 433 550.
